Did you know the oil from the fryers used to cook food in a variety of restaurants is now being used as fuel oil? My friends at Planet Fry are repurposing used cooking oil to fuel their delivery trucks. This innovative way to recycle intrigues me.
I went for a tour of this facility and was amazed to see all the ways the company was reusing materials. As a start up organization, cash is tight. Because of this, the partners are always looking for more economical ways to get materials.
Entrepreneurship and sustainability go hand and hand. They both look to be efficient and eliminate waste. This of course increases profitability.
