How Design and Sustainability Align

Check out this innovative design project by students at Philadelphia University. This chair is growth from mushroom roots and wood chips. It is a zero waste product and I think very good-looking. This organic way of making furniture certainly demonstrates out of the box thinking and innovation that is often the case with sustainability projects.

This chair was grown from mushroom roots as a senior thesis project at Philadelphia University.
